How It Works
Keeping things simple is the way to go – it’s just more fun that way. So, I’ve made everything as straightforward as possible: we meet once for the photo shoot, and that’s it for face-to-face. No need to squeeze in another meeting into your packed schedule. Instead, you’ll get an email from me with a link to your own gallery of beautifully edited images. You can check them out, download your favorites, and order prints whenever you feel like it, all from the comfort of your home. And, you can easily share the link with your friends and family so they can grab some prints for themselves, too!
On the day of our session, keeping it simple is key once more! My setup is super minimal, mainly because I love to make the most of natural light. The aim is to capture real, candid moments that show off the real you, without any of that stiff, posed feeling. It’s totally normal to need a few minutes to get comfortable in front of the camera, but before you know it, you’ll be acting naturally. I’ll be there to guide you along the way, but I’ll try to stay out of your hair as much as possible so we can capture those genuine moments of your life as they happen.

Connect with Rebecca to choose your session date & time! A 50% non-refundable deposit will be due to secure your session. (This deposit will be applied to the final price, which the remaining payment is due once your images have been delivered to you.)
We will meet at the agreed upon location at the time of the session. Please be ready 15 minutes before our session begins so we can get started at the agreed time. Your images will be ready within 1-2 weeks after the session is complete!
The remaining payment (session fee minus deposit paid) will be due on session day. You will need to pay the remainder before you are able to download your image files. Any further post-delivery edits, images or prints can be paid separately.

From the comfort of your own home, you will receive a link to view and download your images online within 30 days. No need to book an in-person viewing session. You also have the option to purchase prints, wall art, and albums right from the gallery for your convenience!
Pricing & Packages
In addition to the individual session packages specifics, each session includes the following:
- Rebecca's talent, expertise & time during the session and post-session editing, as well as travel to your home or off-site location within 30 miles of downtown Charleston
- Curated online viewing gallery for easy download and sharing access for friends & family - link expires after 30 days (though reach out if you need to extend that time frame)
- Access to a line of heirloom products including prints and other memorabilia
- Full print release of the images, though recommended to purchase images through the store for the highest print quality
- All images will be edited at the time of delivery, and add'l retouches are available upon request for a fee. Raw or unedited photos will not be available.
My pricing is determined by an hourly rate that takes into account various factors, such as the time spent before, during, and after the session to create images that you will cherish for a lifetime.

This session is booked for two-hours as we follow the baby's lead. This is designed for newborns and parents. If you'd like to include siblings and other family members, there is a fee of $25/person to support coordination and add'l editing.
$500 (session + 30 images)
This one-hour session is designed for the parents. If you'd like to include siblings and other family members, there is a fee of $25/person to support coordination and add'l editing.
$575 (session + 30 images)
This one-hour session is designed for families of 5. If you'd like to include siblings and other family members, there is a fee of $25/person to support coordination and add'l editing.
$500 (session + 30 images)
This one-hour session is designed for the couples celebrating engagements, anniversaries or simply documenting life! If you will have more than 2 participants, please see my Family Session Package.

Getting referrals is the biggest compliment for me because it shows you're really into the photos we made together. If you're already a client of Rebecca Lynn Photography and someone books their first session mentioning your name as the referrer, you'll get a $50 credit for your next shoot. And the good news? They'll snag a $50 credit for their first session, too! Just make sure they drop your name when they book with me.

Q: What should I wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable! I recommend neutrals - tans, blacks, whites, creams, blues, greens... if you want color, go for muted tones of mustard yellow, burgundy, etc... If you are still unsure, just email me and ask!
Q: Where are you based and do you travel?
I live downtown Charleston, South Carolina. If you'd like me to travel to another location, 30 miles or less is included in the session fee. Anything further than that will require a $25 per 15 miles traveling fee. This fee helps cover the associated transportation, fuel and time costs.
Q: When will we get our photos?
You'll typically receive your photos in 1-2 weeks after our session. I try to get them out to you as soon as possible because I get so excited and know you're excited as well! Life does happen - if it's going to take longer than normal, I'll let you know.
Q: How many pictures will we receive?
The number of photos included in the session fee depends on the session type. I will make the full gallery available to you for viewing to pick-n-choose, and purchase more photos if you'd like! Most sessions result anywhere from 50 to 150 images, giving you plenty of options!
Q: Is there a fee to reschedule a session?
Yes, there is a $50 fee for rescheduling your session once it is booked. However, life happens and is unpredictable, so I will waive the rescheduling fee up to one time. Any add'l reschedules will be subject to incurring a fee added to the final payment.
Q: Can you edit my photos further?
Yes, additional images and image re-touch edits are available at an additional cost per photo (starting at $10 per photo depending on the request).
Q: How do payments work?
A 50% non-refundable deposit will be due to secure your session. This deposit will be applied to the final price, which the remaining payment is due once your images have been delivered to you.
I accept multiple payment forms, including Venmo, checks and cash. I am not able to accept credit cards at this time.
Q: Can I invite my extended family to the newborn session?
Being surrounded by your loving family is wonderful and can provide you some comfort! I recommend only those participating in the session be present to help reduce any distractions during our time together. If you'd like to invite any add'l family members to the session, there is an add'l charge per person.
Q: Why do you charge a fee for add'l people?
Bringing more people into the shoot means I need a bit more planning, positioning, and attention to detail to make sure everyone fits in perfectly and looks great. To keep the quality high and give everyone the attention they deserve, there is a charge of $25 for each extra person. This helps cover the extra time, resources, and skill needed to capture what makes each person unique, ensuring we get a complete and cherished set of photos that really show off the beauty and togetherness of your family.
Q: Do you have a studio?
No, I do not have a studio at this time. I prefer in-home or on location sessions to really help highlight and capture the essence of the subjects. This is why I include travel within the packages so I come to you!
Q: Do you work weekends?
I am generally available for sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, as I dedicate Mondays and Fridays to editing and other business tasks. Should you require a session over the weekend, please request in advance; note that this may involve an additional charge.
Q: Do you offer other products, like prints and albums?
Absolutely! You will have access to an online store, which makes it really simple to add products to your cart right from the gallery. This is a simple and hassle free alternative to an in-person viewing meeting or coordinating through me as a middle-woman (though I'm always happy to assist you).
Q: Can I extend my session?
Of course - sometimes you just need a little bit more time! Any session time block can be extended by 30 minute increments at a $200/hour rate. This does not increase the number of images included in the package and images can be purchased separately from this time extension.
